NSW'S transport minister admits that
building Sydney's light rail network will be difficult and disruptive,
but residents and businesses will get a say.
she also said , The 12km network linking Circular Quay to Central and the Sydney
Cricket Ground, Randwick racecourse, Prince of Wales Hospital and the
University of NSW in the city's east is expected to generate 10,000 jobs
and add $4 billion to the state's economy.
That's two and a half times the project's $1.6 billion, said the link meant 220 buses every hour
could be removed from the CBD and directed to other suburbs.
